The people behind the research
Dvir Aran
Associate Professor
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Biology and the Taub Faculty of Computer Science at the Technion. Our lab develops computational methods for biomedical data analysis — from cell-type deconvolution and single-cell annotation to deep learning for clinical decision support. We combine dry and wet lab approaches, using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to study tumor microenvironment dynamics and translate findings into clinical applications. Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF and Stanford with Prof. Atul Butte, and a Senior Data Scientist at Anthem.ai.
